7. Installation

The connection cables must not be kinked or squashed. This can result in malfunctions,
short circuits and defects in the device.
Make sure that cables or wires are not damaged when drilling or bolting in place.
When selecting the installation position make sure that this is not in direct sunlight and
ensure that the product is protected from dust and vibrations.
The access system is suitable for outdoor use (IP44).
Make sure that the connection cables lead back through the wall into a dry inside
space. This prevents sabotage and vandalism.
Proceed as follows to ensure proper installation:
• Take the supplied tool and remove the cover
screw on the underside of the access sys-
tem.
• Remove the rear mounting plate and hold it
against the designated mounting location.
• Mark the drilling holes.
• Also mark the connection cable bushing.
• Drill the holes and the connection cable
bushing into the wall.
• Attach the mounting plate with appropriate
mounting materials.
• Lead the connection cables through the
mounting plate's bushing.
• Place the access system on the mounting
plate and fi x it to the casing by tightening
the previously removed attachment screw
to the underside.
