To enable reception of the DCF signal, batteries must be inserted in the battery compartment.
You can also start a manual reception attempt in the menu "SETTINGS", function "RCC Update". See chapter 10.
g) for this purpose or proceed as follows:
Start manual search for the DCF signal
• In the main menu of the weather station, select the function "SETTINGS" with the buttons "
and confirm your selection with the button "
• With the buttons " " (5) and "
button " " (9) again.
• "No" is highlighted in colour now. Now briefly either press the button "
"Reboot after 10mins". Confirm this with the button "
• The display shows:
After a few seconds (in this time you can still cancel the function by pressing any key) the weather station is turned
off for approx. 10 minutes in order to receive the DCF signal.
During this time, you cannot operate the weather station.
Attention!
If no batteries are inserted (or if the batteries are spent), the weather station DOES NOT turn off
and all manual reception attempts are futile!
Insert batteries first or change the spent batteries and then perform another manual reception
attempt.
After 10 minutes, the weather station turns on again automatically.
In the display "CLOCK" and "INFO BOARD", a radio tower icon later on indicates whether the DCF reception was
successful or not.
