Wichtig! Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme die zwei
Transportsicherungsschrauben auf der Gerätober-
CH
seite entfernen.
Das Gerät ist für die Montage in ein Rack (482 mm /
19") vorgesehen, kann aber auch als frei stehendes
Tischgerät verwendet werden. Für den Ein bau in ein
Rack wird 1 HE benötigt (HE = Höheneinheit =
44,45 mm).
Vor dem Anschluss bzw. vor dem Verändern von
An schlüssen den CD-110T und die anzu schließen -
den Geräte ausschalten.
1) Die Ausgänge TUNER (31) und CD PLAYER (32)
– L = linker Ka nal, R = rechter Kanal – über
Cinch-Kabel mit jeweils einem Line-Pegel-Ein-
gang (mögliche Beschriftung Line, CD, Tuner,
Aux), z. B. an einem Misch pult oder an einem
Verstärker, verbinden.
2) Eine UKW-Antenne an die Klemmen FM (30)
anschließen. Eine einfache UKW-Wurfantenne
liegt dem Gerät bei. Diese wird an die rote
Klemme angeschlossen.
3) Eine Mittelwellen-Antenne an die Klemmen AM
LOOP (29) anschließen. Eine Mittelwellen-An -
tenne liegt dem Gerät bei. Diese lässt sich mit
der beiliegenden Halterung an einer passenden
Stelle montieren.
4) Zum Schluss das beiliegende Netzkabel zuerst in
die Netzbuchse (33) und dann in eine Steckdose
(230 V~/50 Hz) stecken.

Bedienung

Das Gerät mit dem Netzschalter (1) einschalten und
mit der Taste CD/ TUNER (20) zwischen CD-Player-
Betrieb und Tuner-Betrieb wählen. Bei CD-Player-
Betrieb erscheint auf dem Display (12) die Anzeige
„READING DISC" oder „NO DISC", wenn keine CD im
Laufwerk eingelegt ist. Bei Tuner-Betrieb zeigt das
GB used. The USB interface allows to replay MP3 files
from a hard disk or a USB memory stick.
The CD player is equipped with an anti-shock
memory which is able to compensate interruptions
up to 40 seconds caused by shocks and vibrations
when sampling a CD. However, the anti-shock
memory will not be able to compensate continuous
interruptions. For testing, switch off the anti-shock
memory with the button ESP (14) [not during MP3
operation]. The display (12) will shortly indicate "ESP
OFF". To switch it on again, press the button ESP
again. The display will shortly indicate "40 SEC CD".

Setting up and Connecting the Unit

Important! Prior to the first setting into operation,
remove the two screws on the upper side of the
unit which secure the unit for transportation.
The unit is provided for mounting into a rack
(482 mm/19"), however, it can also be used as a
table top unit placed as desired. For the installation
into a rack 1 rack space is required (= 44.45 mm).
Prior to the connection or changing connections,
switch off the CD-110T and the units to be connected.
1) Connect the outputs TUNER (31) and CD
PLAYER (32) – L = left channel, R = right channel
– via cables with phono connectors to one line
level input each (possible lettering Line, CD,
tuner, Aux) e. g. to a mixer or amplifier.
2) Connect an FM antenna to the terminals FM (30).
A basic FM throw antenna is supplied with the
unit. This is connected to the red terminal.
3) Connect an AM antenna to the terminals AM
LOOP (29). An AM antenna is supplied with the
unit. This can be mounted with the supplied
bracket to a matching place.
4) Finally connect the supplied mains cable to the
mains jack (33) first and then to a mains socket
(230 V~/50 Hz).

5.1 Sender einstellen
5.1.1 Sender speichern
Zum Speichern von Sendern stehen im UKW-Be -
reich 10 Speicherplätze und im Mittelwellen-Bereich
10 weitere Speicherplätze zur Verfügung.
1) Mit der Taste BAND (21) auf UKW-Empfang (An -
zeige „FM") oder Mittelwellen-Empfang (Anzeige
„AM") schalten.
2) Den Sendersuchlauf starten. Eine der Tasten
TUNING (23) kurz gedrückt halten (min. 0,5 Sek.):
Taste DOWN für Sendersuchlauf rückwärts,
Taste UP für Sendersuchlauf vorwärts.
Beim nächsten Sender hält der Suchlauf an.
Den Suchlauf so oft erneut starten, bis der ge -
wünschte Sender empfangen wird.
3) Zur Feineinstellung kann durch kurzes Drücken
einer der Tasten TUNING die Empfangsfrequenz
schritt weise erhöht oder verringert werden.
4) Zum Speichern des Senders alle weiteren Tasten
jeweils innerhalb von 5 Se kunden drücken, sonst
wird der Speichermodus ver lassen:
a) Die Taste STORE (28) drücken. Im Display
(25) blinkt die Anzeige MEMO, womit der Spe-
chermodus signalisiert wird.
b) Den Speicherplatz (die Stationsnummer) für
den eingestellten Sender wählen:
Entweder schrittweise mit den Tasten STA-
TION (24) oder direkt mit den Stations tas ten
1 – 5 (26). Zur Direktwahl der Plätze 6 – 10 die
Taste +5 (27) drücken und dann die entspre-
chende Stationstaste.
c) Den Speichervorgang mit der Taste STORE
abschließen.
5) Zum Speichern weiterer Sender im gewählten
Frequenzband (FM oder AM) die Bedienschritte

Operation

Switch on the unit with the mains switch (1) and se -
lect CD player operation or tuner operation with the
button CD/TUNER (20). With CD player operation
the indication "READING DISC" or "NO DISC" will
appear on the display (12) if no CD has been in -
serted into the player mechanism. With tuner oper -
ation the display (25) shows the station number last
selected under the field «CH» and the correspon-
ding received frequency.
5.1 Tuning the stations
5.1.1 Storing the stations
To store stations, 10 storage locations are available
in the FM range and 10 further storage locations in
the AM range.
1) Switch to FM reception (indication "FM") or AM
reception (indication "AM") with the button BAND
(21).
2) Start the station scanning. Shortly keep one of
the buttons TUNING (23) pressed [0.5 sec. as a
minimum]:
button DOWN for station scanning backward,
button UP for station scanning forward.
The scanning stops at the next station. Start
the scanning so many times until the desired sta-
tion will be received.
3) For fine tuning shortly press one of the buttons
TUNING to increase or reduce the received fre-
quency in steps.
4) To store the station, press all further buttons with -
in 5 seconds each, otherwise the storage mode
will be exited:
a) Press the button STORE (28). The indication
MEMO flashes in the display (25) which sig-
nalizes the storage mode.

BAND auf das andere Frequenzband umschal-
ten und weitere Sender speichern.
5.1.2 Gespeicherte Sender aufrufen
1) Mit der Taste BAND (21) den Bereich wählen (FM
oder AM), in dem sich der gewünschte Sender
befindet.
2) Die Stationstaste 1 – 5 (26) des Senders drü -
cken. Zum Aufrufen der Stationsnummern 6 – 10
die Taste +5 (27) drücken und dann die entspre-
chende Stationstaste, z. B. für die Stationsnum-
mer 8 die Taste +5 und dann die Zifferntaste 3
drücken. Die gewählte Stationsnummer wird im
Display (25) unter dem Feld «CH» angezeigt.
Alternativ können die Sender auch mit den
Tas ten STATION (24) aufgerufen werden. Mit der
Taste DOWN wird auf die vorherige Stationsnum-
mer geschaltet und mit der Taste UP auf die
nächste Stationsnummer.
3) Wird eine Sendung in Stereo ausgestrahlt, er -
scheint im Display die Anzeige «ST».
5.2 Automatisches Ausschalten des Tuners
Mit der Taste SLEEP (22) kann eine Zeit zwischen
90 und 10 Minuten eingestellt werden, nach der sich
der Tuner ausschaltet.
1) Die Taste SLEEP so oft drücken, bis die ge -
wünschte Zeit zum Ausschalten des Tuners im
Display (25) angezeigt wird. Mit jedem Tasten-
druck verringert sich die Zeit um 10 Minuten.
5 Sekunden nach dem letzten Tastendruck
schaltet das Display auf die Empfangsfrequenz
des eingestellten Senders zurück. Die aktivierte
Ausschaltfunktion wird durch das Feld SLEEP im
Display signalisiert. Nach dem Ablauf der einge-
stellten Zeit schaltet sich der Tuner aus.
2) Zum Wiedereinschalten des Tuners die Taste
CD/ TUNER (20) zweimal drücken.
b) Select the storage location (the station num-
ber) for the station tuned:
Either in steps with the buttons STATION (24)
or directly with the station buttons 1 – 5 (26).
For direct selection of the places 6 to 10 press
the button +5 (27) and then the corresponding
station button.
c) Stop the storage procedure with the button
STORE.
5) To store further stations in the selected frequency
band (FM or AM), repeat the operating steps 2
to 4. Then switch with the button BAND to the
other frequency band and store further stations.
5.1.2 Calling stored stations
1) Select the range where the desired station can
be found with the button BAND (21) [FM or AM].
2) Press the station button 1 to 5 (26) of the station.
To call the station numbers 6 to 10, press the but-
ton +5 (27) and then the corresponding station
button, e. g. for the station number 8 the button
+5 and then press the numerical key 3. The se -
lected station number is shown in the display (25)
under the field «CH».
Alternatively, the stations can also be called
with the buttons STATION (24). With the button
DOWN the unit is switched to the previous station
number and with the button UP to the next station
number.
3) If a programme is transmitted in stereo, the indi-
cation «ST» is displayed.
5.2 Switching off the tuner automatically
With the button SLEEP (22) a time between 90 and
10 minutes can be adjusted after which the tuner will
be switched off.
1) Press the button SLEEP so many times until the
desired time for switching the tuner off is shown
in the display (25). Each time the button is
pressed, the time is reduced by 10 minutes.
