Possible exit modes: „ON", „AUTO ON" (= automatic on), „OFF" or „AUTO OFF" (= automat-
ic off).
The time is shown in the 24-hour format.
Program settings
• Select the „MENU" button while in the hour mode. You come to the programming mode. The
indication for the program group number (i.e. „1") and the switch state („ON" or „OFF" flashes).
- „1": Indicates the program group number. There is a total of 16 program groups.
- „ON": Indicates the switched on status.
- „OFF": Indicates the switched off status.
• With the button
you can select the desired program group (1 to 16) and the switch sta-
tus (ON or OFF).
• Press the „OK" button to confirm. Thereafter, the weekday indicator flashes. Continue with set-
ting the week scheme and the time.
• Use the button
to
select the desired week scheme and then press the „OK" button to con-
firm. Thereafter, the hour indication starts to flash.
• Use the button
to
set the desired hour and press the „OK" button to confirm The minutes
are displayed.
• Use the button
to
set the desired minute and press the „OK" button to confirm.
The program group as well as the switch status flash again. Press the „MENU" button twice, to
return to the hour mode.
Of course, you can program more switch groups and their switch states. Proceed in the same
way as described in the explanation above.
The programmed groups are active, when „Auto ON" or „Auto OFF" is indi-
cated in the hour mode.
Countdown setting
The countdown can be set from 1 second till 99(hours):59(minutes).
• Press the „MENU" button twice, while in the hour mode. In the display the lettering „CTD"
(=countdown) appears, and the hour indication flashes.
• Use the button
to
set the desired hour and press the „OK" button to confirm The minutes
are displayed.
• Use the button
to
set the desired minute and press the „OK" button. The seconds are
displayed.
• Use the button
to
set the desired second and press the „OK" button. The countdown then
starts.
There are two functions in the countdown mode:
a) countdown, to switch off the device
When the timer is in the status AUTO ON, it changes automatically to ON, when the countdown
mode is activated. When the countdown period has finished, the power supply is switched off.
b) countdown, to switch on the device
When the timer is in the status AUTO OFF, it changes automatically to OFF, when the count-
down mode is activated. When the countdown period has finished, the power supply is switched
on.
Return to the countdown mode to cancel the countdown (press the „MENU"
button twice in the hour mode). Press the „RCL" button in the countdown
mode. The countdown is cancelled and returned to 0:00:00.
When, in the countdown mode, no button is pressed for more than 2 minutes,
it automatically returns to the hour mode.
It is not possible to activate the random function in the hour mode, using the
button , while the countdown is active.
It is not possible to switch the exit mode in the hour mode, by the button
while the countdown is active.
Random function
In the random mode, the preset on/off switch time is delayed randomly by 4 till 32
minutes.
While the product is in the hour mode, press the button
„RND" appears. The random function is activated.
To deactivate the random function, press the button
from the display.

Summer Time setting
Press the „RCL" button, while in the hour mode, to set the Summer Time (+1 hour). In the LCD-
display the lettering „+1H" appears and one hour is automatically added to the time indicated.
Press the „RCL" button again to deactivate the Summer Time.
In this mode, the preset program is delayed by one hour.
Example: The normal preset switch-on time of 10.00 hours and the switch-off time of 11.00
hours are switched to 11.00 hours and 12.00 hours.
Perform a RESET
Press the „R" button. All the program setting are cancelled and the time is returned to 0:00.
Maintenance and Care
To clean the front of the product, a clean lint-free, dry cloth is sufficient.
The product has no parts that need maintenance. Never dismantle the product.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
Please dispose of the device, when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
