7. Inserting / replacing batteries

• Turn the "connection cover" (1) on the rear end of
the device counter-clockwise to open it.
• Open the "battery compartment cover" (12) by
pushing it downwards.
• Insert 2 x 1.5V AA batteries (type: AA) in the cor-
rect polarity.
• Close the battery compartment again with the
"battery compartment cover" (12).
When the battery voltage is very low
(below 2.4 volt), the "LCD display" (4)
will show a battery icon. Always trans-
fer your data to a computer or laptop
before replacing the batteries to avoid
data loss.
When the battery voltage is too low,
several beeps can be heard. After 3
seconds, the camera is switched off
automatically.
