5. Safety instructions

The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from
non-compliance with the operating instructions. Liability for any and all
consequential damage is excluded!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury,
caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety instructions. In
such cases the guarantee/warranty will be void.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible because of
safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The design of the mains plug complies with safety class 2. As a voltage source, only a proper
power socket (230V~, 50Hz) connected to the public power supply system may be used.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Children cannot
estimate the risks which can arise through incorrect handling of electrical appliances.
Particular care must therefore be exercised if children are present.
• Operation is only permissible in dry indoor locations. The product may not become damp or
wet as there is risk of a fatal electric shock! Never touch the product with wet hands.
• The product may not be exposed to extreme temperatures (<0? / >+40?), intensive, direct
sunlight, strong vibrations, humidity, damp, or heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It might become a dangerous toy for children!
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into a warm
one. The condensation that forms could destroy the appliance or lead to an electric shock.
Wait until the product is at room temperature and the condensation has evaporated. This
may take several hours.
Then connect the plug mains unit with the power supply and put the product into operation.
• Handle the product carefully, it can be damaged by impacts, strikes or by falling from a low
height.
