If you do not intend to use the device for a longer period of time, remove the
battery inserted in the remote control and unplug the power unit from the mains
voltage.
Never penetrate the ventilation slots and openings of the device with pointy
objects (e.g. pens, needles, paper clips, etc.) as this may destroy the device.
When setting up the device, make sure that the cable is neither folded nor
squeezed.
Install all cables in such a way that nobody may trip over them.
Regularly check the technical safety of the product e.g. for damage of the
housing.
If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must
be turned off and precautions are to be taken to ensure that it is not used
unintentionally. Switch off the device, disconnect it from any external power unit,
disconnect the external power unit from the mains voltage. Also remove the
battery inserted in the remote control.
Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possible, if
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not operate any longer and
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.

22. Cleaning

To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Do not use any cleaning agents containing solvents as this may damage the plastic housing
and the lettering.
Dust can be very easily removed using a clean, soft, long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner
