6. General battery notices
• Keep (rechargeable) batteries away from children; they are not toys.
• Do not leave the batteries lying around in the open; there is the risk that they will be
swallowed by children or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries can cause burns if they come into contact with the skin. You
should therefore wear suitable protective gloves.
• Batteries may not be short-circuited, dismantled or thrown into fire. There is a risk of
explosion!
• Make sure that the (rechargeable) batteries are inserted into the IR remote control with the
correct polarity (positive/+ and negative/-).
7. Installation of a hard disk
Operation of the product requires a 2.5" SATA hard disk (not part of the delivery) with a
maximum height of 9.5 mm. Install the hard disk as follows into the provided 2.5" hard disk
housing:
• Remove the rear housing cover of the hard disk housing by unscrewing the two small screws.
• Carefully remove the circuit board observing the correct orientation.
• Insert a 2.5" SATA hard disk into the connections on the circuit board and fasten it in place
with the screws.
• Slide the 2.5" hard disk with the circuit board carefully into the casing and pay attention to
correct orientation.
• Replace the housing cover and close it again with the screws you removed previously.
