9. Inserting the battery into the IR remote control

• Insert a battery type CR2025 into the battery compartment of the remote control observing
the correct polarity. Please note the imprint "+" on the insert for the battery. The plus pole
of the battery must be located on the same side.
The manufacturer may have already inserted the battery. If there is a small transparent
protective strip, please remove it.
• A battery change is required if the range of the IR remote control is very slight or if the docking
station no longer reacts to the IR remote control.

10. Connecting the docking station

• First connect one of the AV outputs with
your playback device.
Output "AV": Connect this port with the AV input of your playback device using the supplied
cable with the three yellow/red/white cinch plugs.
Output "YPbPr": Connect the provided cable with the red/green/blue cinch plugs with the
YUV input of your playback device.
Output "VGA": You need an analog VGA cable which you have to connect to the VGA input
of your monitor.
• Connect the low voltage plug of the power unit (included in the delivery) with the corresponding
socket on the back of the docking station. Insert the power pack into a (230V~/50Hz) mains
socket.
Do not turn the device on yet. First insert the hard disk housing with the installed
SATA hard disk (see next chapter 11).
