20. Menu "Device"


This menu is without function in this version of the multimedia docking station
(if available in the main menu).

21. Handling

Please observe the additional safety instructions in each chapter of these
instructions.
Place the device on a level, firm and sufficiently large area. Do not place the
device on valuable furniture surfaces as this may cause dents or scratches. Use
a suitable base if applicable.
The following unfavourable conditions are to be avoided at the device location
or during transport:
- direct sunlight
- damp or excessively high air humidity
- extreme cold or heat
- dust or flammable gases, fumes or solvents
- strong vibrations
- strong magnetic fields, e.g. close to machines or loudspeakers
Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold into a
warm room. The resulting condensation water may damage the device. The
mains adapter also involves the risk of an electric shock!
Leave the device switched off and wait until it has reached room temperature.
This may take several hours.
Make sure the insulation of the whole product is neither damaged nor destroyed.
Never open the device!
Check the product for damage before each use!
If you notice any damage, DO NOT connect the product with the mains voltage
via the external power unit. Take the product to a specialist workshop or dispose
of it in an environmentally friendly way.
