13. Commissioning the docking station, main menu

• After connecting the docking station to your playback device and inserting a hard disk (see
above), you can turn the docking station on.
• First the start screen appears with the display "Initializing...". Now the docking station scans
all files on the hard disk for available playback files. This may take some time depending on
the number of available files on the hard disk.
• Then an acoustic signal is emitted and the main menu appears.

Basic functions:

With the buttons "
can select the desired function ("Music", "Photo", "Video", "File", "Device", "Setup"). Confirm
your selection with the button "PLAY" on the docking station or the button "
remote control. The other functions are also selected and confirmed with these buttons.
The button " " (15) takes you back from any submenu to the previous menu resp. to the main
menu depending on the the function.
The button " " (13) takes you back to the main menu.
