b) Rechargeable Battery Programme „CHARGE"
This rechargeable battery programme serves to charge a rechargeable battery with
a set charge current (200 mA to 2500 mA).
After insertion of the rechargeable battery into one of the 4 charging chutes, chose the rechargeable
battery programme „CHARGE" with „2" or „8", then push the button „ENTER".
The charging current now flashes at the top of the display; set it with the button „2" or „8".
After confirmation with „ENTER" (or if no button is pushed for more than 5 seconds), charging
commences.
During charging, the display alternatingly shows the rechargeable battery voltage in volt („Charge
Volt"), the charging current in mA („ChargeRate"), the elapsed charge duration in hours/minutes
(„Charge Time") and the charged energy/charge capacity in mAh („Charge Capacity").
After the end of charging, „DONE" appears in the display. the energy charged
in the rechargeable battery (in the figure on the right: 2358 mAh), the charging
duration and cell voltage are displayed alternatingly.
The rechargeable battery can now be taken from the charger.
If the rechargeable batters remains in the charger, the charger
switches to maintenance mode. The rechargeable battery is
charged with a very low current (about 30 mA) to maintain the full
charge condition.
