When no display appears after insertion of rechargeable battery, the rechargeable
battery is either defective or the contacts of the rechargeable battery or charger are
contaminated.
If the display „R000" appears after insertion of a rechargeable battery, the rechargeable
battery has a very high internal resistance. Then the charger continues the usual
function („CHARGE" flashes).
• Set the desired rechargeable battery programme with the button „2" or „8":
„CHARGE"
„CYCLE"
„DISCHARGE"
„BREAK-IN"
„REFRESH"
A description of the 5 rechargeable battery programmes is found in chapter 10.
• If the button „ENTER" (1) is pushed, different settings can be made depending on the rechar-
geable battery programme (see chapter 10).
If no button was pushed for 5 seconds, the charger will start the corresponding rechargeable
battery programme.

c) Differences between Setting by Display/Buttons or App

• More settings of the charger can be adjusted via Bluetooth and an app for iOS or Android
devices than through the display and the operating buttons.

• The app permits quick concurrent changes to the rechargeable battery programmes for all 4
charging chutes at once. Operation via the display and operating buttons requires settings for
every single rechargeable battery chute to be done separately.
