Introduction
Dear customer,
With the universal battery charger V-1268 you have purchased a
product built in accordance with state-of-the-art technology. With
this charger you may charge rechargeable NiCd and NiMH batteries
of the AAA-(micro) and AA- (mignon) type or discharge them (only
required for NiCd).
The charger has been tested for its safety according to DIN VDE
0700 (= EN 60335). In addition, it is EMC-tested and thus conforms
with the standards of the valid European and national guidelines.
Conformity has been proven; the relevant documents are in the pos-
session of the manufacturer.
In order to maintain this condition and to ensure safe operation, the
user has to strictly observe this operating manual!

• U mag de universele acculader enkel op 230 VAC met 50 Hz
aansluiten en in werking stellen.
U mag de acculader niet in vochtige ruimtes, in de open lucht of
bij ongunstige omgevingsomstandigheden gebruiken. Ongunsti-
ge omgevingsomstandigheden zijn:
- nattigheid of te hoge luchtvochtigheid,
- aanwezigheid van stof en brandbare gassen, dampen of oplos-
middelen
- sterke trillingen
Een andere toepassing dan hier beschreven leidt tot beschadiging
van de acculader. Dit is bovendien met gevaren verbonden zoals
b.v. kortsluitingsgevaar, brandgevaar, elektrische schokken, enz.
De universele acculader V-1268 mag niet worden aangepast of
omgebouwd!
U dient te allen tijde de veiligheidswenken in acht te nemen!
