Installation and Connection
Pay attention to the information in the chapter "Preparations for Installation"!
• Remove the rear panel of the outdoor LED wall lamp. To this end, loosen both grub
screws on the top and bottom sides of the housing of the outdoor LED wall lamp.
• Mark the positions for installation on the wall, through the holes
of the mounting plate.
Important!
The installation should be done in the correct position.
The rubber seal for the cable gland must point down-
wards, see image on the right.
The arrow in the image marked "top".
Only in this position, the back panel of the outdoor LED
wall lamp may be mounted on the wall and thus, the
screw terminals and the LED driver are above the rub-
ber seal.
Depending on the background/wall condition, drill holes and
appropriate wall plugs should be used.
When drilling mounting holes or screwing into place, ensure that no existing
cables or pipes are damaged.
Four small rubber washers supplied help achieve a proper seal. Place a rub-
ber washer on each of the four screws so that the former is below the screw
head.
• Cut the rubber seal for the cable gland a bit and slide the mains cable through it.
Make sure that the rubber seal is not cut too far; otherwise water can run
along the cable into the outdoor LED wall lamp.
• Fasten the rear panel of the outdoor LED wall lamp to the wall using suitable screws,
and if required, wall plugs.
• Connect the mains cable using the terminal strip in the outdoor LED wall lamp
(brown cable = L/phase, blue cable = N/neutral, green/yellow cable = PE/earth wire/
earthing symbol).
The protective earth conductor must be connected!
When the outdoor LED wall lamp is substituting another existing lamp and no
protective earth conductor is available, the lamp must not be mounted. First,
draw a new mains cable with protective earth.
In case no protective earth conductor is connected, in case of malfunction
the mains voltage might charge the metal housing of the outdoor LED wall
lamp. There is a life-threatening hazard through an electric shock!
Make sure only the minimum required length of the cable is stripped; other-
wise it could cause a short-circuit.
Also check the other screwing connections at the terminal strip (for the con-
nection cables of the light) and fasten them, if necessary.
• Place the front part of the outdoor LED wall lamp in the correct position on the
mounted rear panel.
Make sure that the mains cable is not pinched or trapped.
• Tighten the two grub screws that you removed at the beginning again, so that the
front part of the outdoor LED wall lamp is properly fixed.
• Switch on the mains voltage again and check whether the outdoor LED wall lamp is
working properly.
If the outdoor LED wall lamp is not lit up, switch off the mains voltage imme-
diately from all poles (take out the fuse or switch off the automatic cut-out,
switch off the earth fault circuit interrupter).
Thereafter, check the connections of the outdoor LED wall lamp.
In case of doubt, contact a professional (e.g., an electrician)!
Maintenance and Cleaning
The product is maintenance-free. Repair or maintenance work must be carried out by
a specialist. The LED bulb is permanently installed and cannot be replaced.
Before cleaning, turn off the mains voltage for the outdoor LED wall lamp and let it cool
down sufficiently.
You can use a clean, dry, soft cloth for cleaning. In case of heavier soiling, you can
moisten the cloth with clean water.
Do not use aggressive, chemical or scouring cleaning agents, as this may lead to
discolouration or scratch marks.
Never direct a stream of water from a garden hose or a high-pressure cleaner onto
the outdoor LED wall lamp!
Disposal
The product must not be disposed of in the household waste.
Dispose of the product at the end of its serviceable life in accordance with
the current statutory requirements; e.g., return it to any suitable collection
point.
