circuit breaker. Protect it against an unauthorised restart, e.g. with a danger sign.
• Check that the mains cable is free of current, e.g. with an appropriate tester.

Mounting and connection

Pay attention to the information in the "Preparation for mounting" section.
Installation
1. Remove the junction box from the floor stand of the lamp. Begin by holding the
flat plastic handle.
2. Then unscrew the four screws from the top and remove the cover of the junction
box.
3. Carefully pull the screw terminal out of the junction box.
4. Remove the outer insulation on the mains cable to a maximum length of about
16  mm. Strip the insulation on each of the three wires on the mains cable to a
length of about 6 mm. The earth cable (yellow-green cable) should be at least 6 mm
longer so that it remains the last cable in the screw terminal in the event of a fault.
5. Loosen the two strain relief screws in the junction box, but do not remove them
completely.
