9. Wahl des Installationsortes
Der Installationsort sollte so gewählt werden, dass im Betrieb
eine optimale Reichweite erreicht wird.
Das EIB-IR-Gateway benötigt Sichtverbindung zu den zu steu-
ernden IR-Geräten (z. B. Audio-Anlage) und zu der IR-Fern-
bedienung, von der aus das Gateway angesprochen werden
soll, um einwandfrei zu funktionieren.
Wählen Sie deshalb den Installationsort so, dass
• Sie im Betrieb das IR-Gateway bequem mit Ihrer Infrarot-
Fernbedienung anvisieren können;
• zwischen Gateway und zu steuernden Geräten keine Ge-
genstände, Möbel, Vorhänge etc. die Sichtverbindung ein-
schränken.
9. Selecting the place of installation
The place of installation should be chosen so as to achieve
optimal communication in operation.
For perfect operation, the Gateway needs sight contact with
the IR apppliances to be controlled (e.g audio equipment)
and the IR remote control transmitting to the Gateway.
The place of installation must therefore be chosen so that
• in operation, the IR remote control can be easily pointed to
the Gateway;
• there are no objects, pieces of furniture, curtains, etc.
impairing the sight contact between the Gateway and the
equipment to be controlled.
9. Keuze van de montagepositie
De montagepositie moet zodanig worden gekozen, dat tijdens
bedrijf een optimale reikwijdte gerealiseerd wordt.
Om onberispelijk te kunnen werken, moet de Gateway visueel
contact hebben met de te besturen IR-apparatuur (b.v. audio-
installatie) en met de IR-afstandsbediening, waarmee de
Gateway geactiveerd moet worden.
Kies de montagepositie daarom zodanig, dat
• u de Gateway tijdens bedrijf gemakkelijke met uw infrarood-
afstandsbediening kunt aanpeilen;
• tussen de Gateway en de te besturen apparaten geen
obstakels,meubels, gordijnen etc. de visuele verbinding
belemmeren of inperken.
