Upon delivery check if all the parts are present
and take note of any damage. Check that you have
received the right model.
1.5.2.1 General
When installing the radiant heaters the applicable
regulations (from the gas company or the building
code) should be observed. Take particular note of
the latest version of the gas installation regulations.
A radiant heater may only be installed in a suitable
room and at the suitable location!
1.5.2.2 Gas supply and connection
The heater should be attached to the 1" gas inlet
pipe. An approved gas stop cock must be attached
within easy reach of the burner section.
Air intake and flue gas discharge course

This combined duct must have a minimum resistance,
so it should contain as few bends as possible.
The diameter is the same across the entire track.
The duct must not be supported on the heater, but
must be suspended effectively (See also 1.4.9).
Black bulb sensor/Room thermostat

For an optimum adjustment the sensor/thermostat
should be placed in "view" of the heater, at a height
of approx. 1.5 metres from the floor.

Allgemeines
Bei der Installation von Gasgeräten sind die geltenden
Vorschriften (des DVGW, des
Versorgungsunternehmens und der Bauverordnung) zu
beachten. Es wird insbesondere auf die neueste
Version der Gasinstallationsvorschrift verwiesen.
Die installation eines Gasgferätes darf nur in einem
dafür geeigneten Raum und an einer dafür geeigneten
Stelle stattfinden!
Gaszufuhr und -anschluß
Der Gasanschluß der Dunkelstrahler beträgt 1".
Vor jedem Gasgerät muß eine Absperreinsichtung
montiert werden im Bereich der hand.
Verbrennungsluft/Abgasführung (Zubehör)
Dieses System sollte einem minimalen Widerstand
haben, also möglichst wenig Bogen aufweisen. Der
Durchmesser des Systems muß auf der gesamten
Strecke gleich sein. Die Leitung darf nicht auf dem
Strahler ruhen, sondern muß zweck-mäßig aufgehängt
werden (Siehe auch Kapitel 1.4.9).
Schwarzer-Kugel-Fühler/Raumthermostat
Für eine optimale Steuerung muß der Fühler/
der Thermostat in "Sicht" des Strahlers angebracht
werden. Die optimale Montagehöhe beträgt ca. 1,5 m.
