Functional description broken glass indicator

In case of broken glass, the roller shutter moves down without delay.
The display will now indicate
the broken glass symbol (g):
The previously programmed up time will no longer be considered, i.e.
the roller shutter does not move up at the programmed up time
because of safety reasons. Simply press the up button in order to
resume the normal operation. The broken glass symbol in the display
goes off and the roller shutter moves up or down at the programmed
up and down times.
Annotation: A broken glass signal is released as soon as the broken
glass indicator detects a massive shock or broken glass
within the sensing range. The sensing range amounts to
approx. 1 square meter (please refer to the picture on
page 77). Therefore, several broken glass indicators and
a distributor box should be installed on larger windows.

Installation

Installation and basic settings:
1. Switch off the power supply.
2. Connect the supporting frame terminal according to the wiring dia-
gram (see page 75).
Attention: Currently valid VDE standards must be observed
when connecting the device, in particular DIN VDE
0100/0700 as well as the currently valid regulations
of your local power company and accident preven-
tion regulations.
3. Mount the supporting frame in the flush-type box.
4. Slide the combination frame carefully in the supporting frame so that
the centring pins of the supporting frame fix the frame in the centre.
5. Slide the basic housing in the supporting frame.
6. Switch on the power supply and press the reset button.
7. Check, if the direction of the motor rotation corresponds with the
direction buttons. If not, exchange terminal 4 with terminal 5.
Important: Parallel control of several roller shutter drive motors can
only be implemented by means of isolating relays or
group control devices.
For trouble-free operation of all storing functions, it is
necessary that the Vestamatic Rolltec Pro G/S roller
shutter control is connected to the line voltage for
approx. 1 hour.
