01 Connecting the units

Connecting the power cord

Navigation unit
(AVIC-F220 (sold
separately)).
Please contact your dealer to
inquire about the connectable
navigation unit.
Note:
Depending on the kind of vehicle,
the function of 2* and 4* may be
different. In this case, be sure to
connect 1* to 4* and 3* to 2*.
ISO connector
Note:
In some vehicles, the ISO connector may be divided into
two. In this case, be sure to connect to both connectors.
(AVH-P4300DVD only)
When you connect the separately sold
multi-channel processor (DEQ-P6600) to this
unit, do not connect anything to the speaker leads
and system remote control (blue/white).

26 pin cable (Supplied with Navigation unit)
Insert the 26 pin cable in the direction
indicated in the figure.

Back-up Connect to the constant 12 V
(or accessory) supply terminal.

Accessory Connect to terminal controlled by
(or back-up) ignition switch (12 V DC).
Orange/white
Connect to lighting switch terminal.
Black (chassis ground)
Connect to a clean, paint-free metal location.
AUX jack (3.5 ø) (AVH-P4300DVD only)
Use a mini plug cable to connect with auxiliary device.
Microphone input (AVH-3300BT only)
RGB input

Antenna input
Connect leads of the same
color to each other.
