Differential demontieren und Ritzelkassette wechseln
Das Differential ist wartungsfrei und muss nur ausgebaut werden,
wenn die Ritzelkassette ausgewechselt werden soll.
1. Schrauben Sie die beiden M6 Sicherungsmuttern (1) am Stabi-
lisatorblech ab.
2. Schrauben Sie die M8 Sicherungsmutter (2) mit einem Gabel-
schlüssel 13 mm am Dämpfer ab.
3. Lösen Sie die M6 Innensechskantschraube (3) mit einem 5 mm
Innensechskantschlüssel an der Achsklemmung.
4. Schieben Sie den Gummibalg (4) vom Differentialgehäuse nach
links.
5. Ziehen Sie die linke Achseinheit (5) ca. 10 cm aus dem
Rahmenrohr und aus dem Differential heraus. Darin befindet
sich ein 10 mm Innensechskant.
6. Halten Sie das rechte Laufrad fest, stecken Sie einen 10 mm
Innensechskantschlüssel in den Sechskant im Differential (6,
Bild nächste Seite) und schrauben Sie das Differential mit
der Ritzelkassette von der rechten Antriebswelle im Uhrzei-
gersinn ab (Achtung: Linksgewinde!).
Hinweis:
Bei anschließenden Montage müssen Sie das Differential mit
einem Drehmoment von 80 Nm festziehen. Verwenden Sie
Schraubenfett.
7. Ziehen Sie das Differential mit der Ritzelkassette heraus. Jetzt
können Sie die Ritzelkassette demontieren.

Removing the differential and replacing the cassette
The differential requires no maintenance and must only be re-
moved when replacing the cassette.
1. Unscrew the two M6 locknuts (1) on the sway-bar mounting
plate.
2. Unscrew the M8 locknut (2) on the rear-shock mount using a
13mm wrench (spanner).
3. Loosen the Allen bolt (3) on the axle clamp using a 5mm
Allen key.
4. Slide the rubber bellows (4) to the left, away from the differ-
ential case.
5. Pull the left axle assembly (5) approx. 10 cm (4") out of the
frame tube and the differential. There is a 10mm hexagon
socket in the side of the differential.
6. Bracing the right wheel, insert a 10mm Allen key in the hexa-
gon socket of the differential (6, in diagram on next page), and
unscrew the differential with the cassette from the right drive
shaft by turning the differential clockwise (attention: left-hand
thread).
Note:
Upon reassembly, the differential must be tightened with a
torque of 80 Nm (59 ft-lbs). Use assembly grease on the
threads.
7. Remove the differential with the cassette. Then you can
detach the cassette.
