Schaltauge auswechseln
Nachdem die Ritzelkassette entfernt wurde, lässt sich das Schalt-
auge auswechseln.
Hinweis:
Das Schaltauge lässt sich auch durch vorsichtiges auseinan-
der biegen auswechseln.
1. Schrauben Sie das Schaltwerk (1) mit einem Innensechs-
kantschlüssel 5 mm vom Schaltauge ab.
2. Lösen Sie die Klemmschraube (2) des Schaltauges mit einem
Innensechskantschlüssel 4 mm und nehmen Sie das Schaltauge
vom Rahmenrohr.
3. Setzen Sie das neue Schaltauge auf das rechte Rahmenrohr
bündig mit der Rohrkante auf.
4. Richten Sie das Schaltauge wie im Bild dargestellt aus und
ziehen Sie die Klemmschraube (2) mit maximal 5 Nm fest.
Achtung!
Bevor Sie die Klemmschraube festziehen, müssen sich Lager
(3) im Rohr befinden. Sonst könnte das Rahmenrohr defor-
miert werden.
Rahmenschnellverstellung kürzen
Wenn der Verstellbereich der Rahmenschnellverstellung aus-
geschöpft ist und Sie das Trike für kleinere Personen einstellen
wollen, muss die Rahmenschnellverstellung angepasst werden.
Durch die Anpassung verändert sich der Einstellbereich und das
Trike lässt sich für Personen von ca. 1,50 bis 1,75 m einstellen.
1. Öffnen Sie die Kette am Kettenschloss. Ziehen Sie die Kette
aus der Rahmenschnellverstellung.
2. Öffnen Sie die drei Umlenkeinheiten (4), indem Sie die M4
Innensechskantschrauben mit einem Innensechskantschlüssel
3 mm und die M5 Innensechskantschrauben mit einem Innen-
sechskantschlüssel 4 mm herausdrehen.
3. Nehmen Sie die Rahmenschnellverstellung ab. Ziehen Sie die
Aluminiumrohre (5) aus den Umlenkeinheiten.
Hinweis:
Die Rohre sitzen formschlüssig in den Umlenkeinheiten.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Erhebungen (6) in den Umlen-
keinheiten nicht beschädigt werden. Die Bohrung der Rohre
muss bei der anschliessenden Montage auf die Erhebung in
der Umlenkeinheit gesetzt werden.

Replacing the derailleur hanger
After the cassette has been removed, the derailleur hanger can be
replaced.
Note:
The derailleur hanger can also be replaced by carefully pull-
ing apart the two clamping arms.
1. Unscrew the rear derailleur (1) from the derailleur hanger
using a 5mm Allen key.
2. Loosen the clamping bolt (2) of the derailleur hanger with a
4mm Allen key and remove the derailleur hanger from the
frame tube.
3. Place the new derailleur hanger on the right frame tube so
that its edge is flush with the end of the tube.
4. Position the derailleur hanger as shown in the picture and
tighten the clamp bolt (2) with a max. torque of 5 Nm (3.6
ft-lbs).
Caution!

Do not tighten the clamping bolt unless the bearing (3) is inside
the frame tube. Otherwise, the frame tube could be deformed.
Shortening the quick-adjust assembly
In order to adjust the trike to lengths outside of the range of the
quick-adjust assembly (e.g. for smaller riders), changes must be
made to the quick-adjust assembly. After the quick-adjust assem-
bly has been modified, the trike will have a different range for
quick length adjustments. This range can accommodate riders
from approx. 1.50 to 1.75 m (4'11" to 5'9") in height.
1. Open the chain at the master link. Pull the chain out of the
quick-adjust assembly.
2. Open the three idler-pulley units (4) by removing the M4
Allen bolts with a 3mm Allen key and the M5 Allen bolts with
a 4mm Allen key.
3. Remove the whole quick-adjust assembly from the frame. Pull
the aluminum tubes (5) out of the idler-pulley units.
Note:
The ends of the tubes fit tightly in the housing of the idler-pul-
ley units. Be careful not to damage the small protrusions (6) in
the housing of the idler-pulley units. The holes in the tubes must

be aligned with the protrusions in the idler-pulley housing when
reassembling the quick-release mechanism.
