> Remove the mains plug or switch off the
fuse (only with VER 240/4) before using a
damp cloth to clean the outside of the unit.

cleaning agents.
> Clean the surface of your appliance with a

Recycling and disposal

Both your Valliant VER electrical room heater and its
packaging consist mainly of recyclable raw materials.
3.3.1

Unit

Your Vaillant VER electrical room heater does not
belong in the household waste. Make sure that the old
unit is disposed of properly.
3.3.2

Packaging

Please leave the disposal of the transport packaging to
the expert technician who installed the unit.

Energy saving tips

Room temperature
Set the room temperature only as high as sufficient for
your comfort level. Each extra degree means increased
energy consumption of about 6%.
Adjust the room temperature according to the purpose
for which the room is used. For example, it is not nor-
mally necessary to heat bedrooms or seldom used
rooms to 20°C.
Ventilating rooms
During the heating period, open windows only for venti-
lation and not for temperature regulation. Brief impact-
ventilation is more effective and energy-saving than win-
dows that are kept open for a long time. We recommend
that the windows be opened fully for a short period.
Turn off the room heater while ventilating.
In this way, there will be adequate ventilation without
unnecessary cooling and energy loss (e.g. due to the
heating switching on while ventilating).
