Fault/malfunction
Motor does not start.
Motor running irregularly.
Excessive vibration.

Distance from electrode to spark
plug too great?
Incorrect fuel?

Engine oil level too low?
Spark plug contaminated?

Incorrect fuel?
V-Belts loose or torn out?
Loose parts or damaged screws? Contact your local store.
Remedy
Filling with fuel
Push the connector firmly onto
the spark plug.
Clean connector.
Cleaning/replacing the
spark plug
Replace spark plug.
Motor starts several times
without pressing the choke
starten (Position ).
If the motor will not start: Take
out the spark plug and dry the
electrode.
Set gap at 0.7–0.8 mm.
Drain tank and fill up with the
correct fuel.
Cleaning/replacing the
spark plug
Checking the motor oil level
Cleaning/replacing the
spark plug
Set gap at 0.6–0.8 mm.
Empty tank and fill up with the
correct fuel.
