6. Connecting instructions / grounding
Please observe:
Provided that the operating voltage drop does not exceed 0.5 V DC (see drawing) the
IDENT-KEY operating unit can be mounted with a maximum distance of 100 m to the
evaluation unit .

Grounding:
The ground connection is realized via the shielding of the feed lines. For this purpose the shielding of
the operating unit in the evaluation unit must be connected with the intrusion detection central unit.
