6. Configuration for the Event protocol
These settings are required for:
- MultiAccess for Windows
- IQ MultiAccess
- MultiTime for Windows
- Novatime
for the controllers/terminals ACS-2/8, TRS 8 / 15 / 35.

6.1 NetEdit settings*

(*= The following illustrations are made using NetEdit of MAfW V7. The layout of other versions,
especially of MultiAccess Lite and IQ MultiAccess may be slightly different to the examples displayed,
but the content is identical).
1. Start NetEdit.
2. Select the required terminal in the left window.
3. Enter a significant designation.
4.
Enter the TCP/IP-address, which is to be requested by the competent network-adminis-
trator.
5. The MVA (My virtual address) and the port number are automatically allocated by system.
If necessary, the MVA can be changed manually. Note the MVA, it will be needed later on
(see 6.2).
The IP-address has to be allocated
