4.3 Subscribing a handset to the Topcom Freeport base station

Base station
Put the Freeport base into subscribing mode, by removing and reconnecting the adapter from your
Freeport. The antenna LED blinks on the Freeport base. You now have 5 minutes to subscribe the
handset.
Handset
• P ress the Function button until "H-REGISTER" is shown on the display.
• Press the OK button.
• On the display "SEARCH BS 1" is shown.
• Press the Function button.
• The base number changes from 1 to 4.
• As soon as the handset has found the correct base number, press
the OK button.
• When the handset is looking for the base unit, the RFPI Code is
displayed. Every handset has its own code.
• When "PIN : " is displayed, enter the PIN code of the base unit
(PIN code = '1111').
• After entering the 4 digit PIN code, press the OK button.
• The unit returns to the "H-REGISTER" menu.

4.4 Subscribing a handset to another DECT base station

The DECT base has to be GAP compatible, otherwise you will not be able to subscribe the Butler
575C handset to this base.
Base station
Put the base in subscription mode. Refer to the user manual of your DECT base. When the DECT
base is in subscription mode, go to the handset registration.
Handset
• P ress the Function button until "H-REGISTER" is shown on the display.
• Press the OK button.
• On the display "SEARCH BS 1" is shown.
• Press the Function button.
• The base number changes from 1 to 4.
• As soon as the handset has found the correct base number, press
the OK button.
• When the handset is looking for the base unit, the RFPI Code is
displayed. Every handset has its own code.
• When "PIN:" is displayed, enter the PIN code of the base unit
(PIN code = depends on the base station).
