If you attach the top section of the housing to the bottom section, it slots into place.
Opening the housing
Unlock the housing cover using a small screwdriver.

Lift the bottom part of the housing cover.
2.
Remove the housing cover in upward direction.

Installation on flush-mounting box: Only install the reader on the flush-mounting
box after successful commissioning.
The power supply must be disconnected for configuration. For further details,
see chapter 4.4.2 Reloading the configuration.
Use the screws provided (3.2 x 25 mm) for installation on 60 mm DIN flush-
mounting boxes.
For other installation methods use 3 mm self-tapping countersunk-head screws to
DIN 963 or with a countersunk head to DIN 965. Max. diameter of head 5.6 mm.

Installing the casing
Fix the casing base to the mounting surface using the screws provided.
Press the cover of the casing onto the casing base.
Check that the cover snaps correctly into place.
