3.6 Retrofitting radio modules
Retrofitting of radio modules can be performed in two ways.
• Using the heatapp! App on a tablet-PC (recommended).
Using a PC / laptop and a heatapp! USB-LAN adapter.
•
Via the heatapp! App
Where possible use the heatapp! App on a tablet connected to the
customer's home network for subsequent retrofitting of additional radio
modules.
1. Log in to the heatapp! App as a user with "Expert" or "Owner"
rights.
2. Select the field "Settings".
3. Tap the "Gateway" symbol. Log in using the password you created.
3. Tap on the menu item "Radio modules".
Follow the instructions for teaching the radio modules.
Via a PC / laptop
The later retrofitting of extra radio modules via a PC / laptop is
performed as described in section Fehler! Verweisquelle konnte nicht

NOTE
The heatapp! system also supports other manufacturers' Z-wave
components (e.g. actuators and repeaters). The basic functions of
these third-party components can be controlled via the heatapp!
gateway under "Settings / System / Gateway / Radio modules /
Manage" dependent on the function in question.
