ADJUSTING THE LOWER LOOPER
For convenient access, remove the presser
foot, throat plate and feed dog.
Set the looper so that the distance from the
center line of the needle to the point of the
looper is (G) Fig. 2 when the looper is at its far
left position.
To adjust, loosen nut (H) Fig, 2A in the lower
looper ball joint (I) and move the looper to the
specified dimension.
As the looper moves to the right, its point should
pass behind the needle as close as possible
without contacting it. Adjustment can be made
by loosening the fastening screws (J) Fig 2A of
looper rocker and moving the looper rocker in
or out utillthe adjustment is obtained.

SETTING THE NEEDLE BAR
Set the needle bar so that the top of the needle
eye is even with the underside of the looper or
spreader, when the point in its travel to the right
projects 1 - 1.5 mm (.040 - .060") (Fig. 3) past the
right side of the needle. If adjustment is necessary,
loosen the clamping screw in the needle bar
connection and move the needle bar up
or down as required and retighten screw.

EINSTELLEN DES UNTERGREIFERS
Zur bequemeren Einstellung entferne
Drückerfuß, Stichplatte und Transporteur.
Der Greifer is so einzustellen, daß der
Abstand von Nadelmitel zur Greiferspitze
(G) Fig. 2 wenn der Greifer in seiner
äußersten linken Position ist.
Um einzustellen, lösen Sie die Mutter (H)
Fig.2A in der unteren Greifer Kugelgelenk (I)
und bewegen Sie den Greifer an die
angegebene Dimension.
Als de Greifer mach rechts bewegt, sollte
seine Stelle hinter del Nadel so nahe wie
möglich passieren ohne diese zu berühren.
Die Einstellung kann durch Lösen der
Befestigungsschrauben (J) Fig. 2A Greifer
Rocker und Bewegen des Greifers Rocker
in oder out utillthe Anpassung erhalten
werden.

EINSTELLEN DER NADELSTANGE
Stelle die Nadelstange so hoch ein, daß Unterkante Grei-
fer- und Oberkante Nadelöhr übereinstimmen, wenn die
Greiferspitze bei richtige Bewegung nach linke 1 - 1,5 mm
(Fig.3) über die richtige Nadelseite vorsteht. Zur
Höheneinstellung
der
Klemmschraube am Mitnehmer gelöst und nach der
Einstellung wieder fest angezogen.
