7.2 Air filter

Do not use flammable liquids when
cleaning.
Clean/replace the air filter every 10 operating
hours or every 3 months. During operation in dry
and dusty conditions, the air filter must be cleaned/
replaced every day.
Clean the air filter as follows:
1. Remove the filter covers by removing the cen-
tre screw (1:G) and remove the foam rubber fil-
ter.
2. Remove any loose dirt and wash the filter in wa-
ter with detergent.
3. Wring out the filter and allow it to dry com-
pletely before reinstalling.
4. Reinstall the filter in the reverse order.
If the filter is very dirty, change it.

7.3 Oil change

The oil must be changed for the first time after 2
hours of operation and then every 10 operating
hours or every 3 months.
Change oil as follows:
1. Unscrew the oil plug (1:M).
2. Tilt the machine to the left and drain the oil into
a suitable container.
3. Fill with new oil according to "3.5".
7.4 Spark plug (1:I)
The spark plug must be replaced after 100 hours of
operation. Use Champion QJ19LM or equivalent.
The electrode gap should be 0.7-0.8 mm. See fig.

7.5 Cleaning
Do not use a high-pressure washer. Wa-
ter can penetrate the sealing rings and
cause serious machine damage.
First brush off all dirt. Then wipe down the rotary
cultivator using a damp cloth. The underside can
be washed with water.
