Operating the appliance
• Plug the appliance into an easily accessible socket.
• Immerse the blender in the food mixture.
• Press the switch marked I or II to start the appliance on
low or high speed respectively. The appliance only
runs while the switch is pressed down.
If using the hand blender to mix food in a sauce-
pan ensure that it is not too hot for the blender.
CAUTION! Do not use the appliance to blend
deep-frozen food, very hard food or very hot food
which has been heated to temperatures in ex-
cess of 80° C.
CAUTION! When processing hot food there is a
danger of being scalded by splashing liquid, or by
the mixing beaker or saucepan.
