Application/intended use
This appliance is intended solely for household use. It is designed
for processing normal household amounts of food. The appliance
should not be used for industrial applications.
Applications
• The hand blender is suitable for making sauces, soup, baby food,
smoothies, etc. The hand blender can be used to purée or mix
soft foods, such as fruit, vegetables and liquids. Hard items must
be pre-cooked before blending and large items cut into small pie-
ces. Please do not separate eggs if making mayonnaise.
• The whisk is suitable for processing cream, whisking eggs or for
biscuit dough.

Before use

• Before using the hand blender and mixing beaker for
the first time wash them using standard washing-up li-
quid.
CAUTION! Do not touch the blades on the blen-
der as they may cause injury! CAUTION! Never
immerse the motor unit and mains lead in water!

Use

The following measures can be taken when mixing to
prevent splashing and spillages:
• Process the food in the beaker provided or in another
suitable container (e.g. measuring jug, high-sided sau-
cepan, etc.)
• Do not exceed the maximum filling level of the mixing
container, especially with liquids (e.g. milk, soup, sau-
ces), as liquids are most likely to generate splashes and
spillages.
