Calibration in fresh water
Switch the unit on (ON).
Use the „RANGE" button to select the 2,000 mS
scale (1).
Immerse the electrode into the 600 mS calibration
solution TUNZE® 7005.14 (2).
After 3minutes use the screw-driver supplied along
with the unit to carefully turn the screw in the lower
opening in the right side wall (3) until the display (4)
renders the reading „600.0".
Hold the screw-driver vertically !
The unit is ready for use after the electrode has
been rinsed.
Important note:
Separate calibration in a range of up to 200 µS/cm
may not be required as calibration to 600 µS/cm will
also cover the range up to 200 µS/cm.
Caution: Salt-water calibration will also change the
fresh-water measuring range.
Etalonnage pour eau douce
Enclenchez l'appareil (ON).
A l'aide du bouton „RANGE", choisissez l'échelle
2000 µS (1).
Plongez l'électrode dans la solution étalon 600 µS/
cm TUNZE® 7005.14 (2).
Après 3 minutes et à l'aide du tournevis fourni,
réglez la vis inférieure 600 µS (3) sur le côté droit
de l'appareil jusqu'à ce que l'afficheur indique
600,0 (4).
Le tournevis doit être tenu parfaitement droit !
Remarque importante :
Il n'est pas nécessaire d'entreprendre spécialement
un étalonnage pour un domaine jusqu'à 200µS, car
l'étalonnage 600 µS/cm reste encore parfaitement
précis pour le domaine 200 µS.
Attention : un étalonnage pour l'eau de mer modifie
aussi celui de l'eau douce.
