7 Layout Examples
Our suggestion of a small N gauge lay-
out (Fig. 23) shows just how many possi-
bilities are included in a "START-SET of
the YEAR". Extended with just a few
more track pieces, a really interesting
layout can be created in just a small
amount of space.
The theme of this layout, measuring just
125 cm x 75 cm, is a small intermediate
station on a single track main line, incorpo-
rating lots of operational possibilities with
its goods yard of sidings and an industrial
siding.
Starting point for the trains is the double-
track station, which we have space-savin-
gly and elegantly positioned in one corner
of the layout.
A number of sidings making up the goods
yard are connected into the station. The
single track line leaves the station to the
