The above listed cleaning agents are only
recommended; the customer must check material
compatibility and hygiene regulations when using
other cleaning agents.
6.1.2 Lubricants

Gears: EFA special lubricant 001 365 641 (0.8kg)
Bar: EFA special lubricant (Molykote Longterm W2)
001 365 623 (1kg); 001 365 624 (5kg)
6.2 Daily maintenance of the brisket
saw
6.2.1 Sawblade
Remove the machine from the dissecting/slaughter
hall and take it to the maintenance center or
workshop to disassemble the sawblade.
Check the fastening and sharpness of the sawblade
daily and replace or sharpen, if necessary.
6.3 Extended service (after approx:
500 operating hours)
(Numbers in parentheses refer to figures in
Appendix A4, exploded views (pgs. 15- 17))
Check guide (84) for too much play, replace if
necessary
Check seals (68, 69, 70) for wear and leaks,
replace if necessary
Check plain bearings (54, 61, 74) for wear,
replace if necessary
Check rolling-contact bearings (56, 41) for wear,
replace if necessary
Check seals (6) and cap (8) for leaks, replace if
necessary

6.4 Extended service (after approx:
1000 operating hours)
(Numbers in parentheses refer to figures in
Appendix A4, exploded views (pgs. 15- 17))
Check spindle (72) and plate (62) for cracks and
replace if necessary
Inspect pins (63, 73) for cracks, replace if
necessary
The gears of the saw are equipped with long-term
lubrication. Check or replace this as follows:
Remove the 8 screws (80) and take off the
housing (77) (see figure below).
Check the lubricant quantity inside the housing.
Clean the gears with a lint-free cloth and
scraper with used up or contaminated lubricant.
Do not use disinfectants and cleaning agents.
Lubricate the gears with grease (Product no.
001 365 641), lubricant quantity = 800g.
Replace the seal (47) of the gear cover if
necessary.
Reassembly is done in the opposite order.
Tighten the screws (80) with 20 Nm.

6.5 Repair by customer service

Disconnect the machine from
power before all repair work!
Repairs must only be made by authorized
trained technicians.
Our service department is available for repairs.
In case of repair, contact the nearest authorized
repair shop or directly contact our main office.
On request, spare parts lists can be forwarded
to the repair workshop with qualified
technicians.

7. Transport and storage

The machine must be stored in a dry, ventilated
room.
The machine must be cleaned according to Sec.
6.1.1 and transported in dry condition.
Ensure that the machine is not damaged during
transport.
