1. Keep your workplace tidy. Untidiness can lead to
accidents.
2. Pay attention to the influences of the
surroundings. Ensure good lighting (at least 500
lux).
3. Protect yourself from electric shock. Sockets
must be secured with ground fault current
interrupters (GFCI).
4. Keep other people away from your workplace.
Concentrate and work rationally. Do not use the
brisket saw when you cannot concentrate and/
or are tired.
5. Store the brisket saw securely. Keep unused
equipment in a dry location.
6. Work clothing: Do not wear loose clothing or
jewelry, these may be caught in moving parts.
Wear sturdy shoes when working. Wear a
hairnet as general practice!
7. Avoid a strained posture. Make sure you are
standing securely and keep your balance at all
times.
8. Maintain your tools carefully. Only use sharp and
undamaged sawblades, so that you can work
better and safer.

Workplace
The work area for the user should be at least 1.5
qm. No other workplace should extend into this
area, as otherwise there could be a risk of injury due
to movements with the brisket saw.
Lighting at the workplace must have at least 500
lux.

3.1 First commissioning

Only connect the brisket saw to
power when it is switched off!
Important information, e.g., technical
data sheets, drawings and parts list
are in Appendix A (P. 10).

3.1.1 Spring balancer

The machine must always
be operated in combination
with a weight relief (spring
balancer).
Attach the spring balancer
with a trolley to a higher
situated element over the
workplace or on the
ceiling.
Information for fine adjustment of the spring
balancer is found in Sec. 4.3.
The brisket saw should hang as top-heavy as
possible. The vertical position can be readjusted if
required.
The approx. weight of 29 kg may
lead to danger when attaching or
releasing the weight relief due to
slipping or falling of the machine.
Make sure that the machine is
not jammed on the snap hook or
the hook of the brisket saw.
Work cautiously!
If the brisket saw is not being used, place it down
so that the sharp sawblade cannot be accidentally
touched.
