Description

2.1

General

The MiniCODERs are intended to be used for the contactless measurement of rotary
and linear movements predominantly in machines, gears, motors or high-speed spin-
dles.
Measuring system
The MiniCODER and the ferromagnetic measuring scale form a measuring system.
The MiniCODER contactlessly scans the ferromagnetic measuring scale and
acquires the direction of rotation, rotational speed and position.
To ensure the correct function of the measuring system,

The MiniCODER must match the module, the reference mark and the width of the
measuring scale

The MiniCODER must be mounted symmetrically in relation to the measuring
scale
●
A defined air gap must be maintained between the MiniCODER and the measur-
ing scale
