Charging the rechargeable battery
Please fully charge the rechargeable battery before initial operation.
If a warning signal sounds during operation, the rechargeable battery requires
charging.
You can continue to use the product while you charge the rechargeable battery. This
will however lengthen the charging time accordingly.
• Connect the Micro-USB plug of the included charging cable to the charging port (8) on the
product.
• Connect the USB plug with a USB power source (e.g. PC or power supply with USB output).
The USB power supply must be able to supply a current of 500 mA.
• The red LED lights up during charging. When the rechargeable battery is fully charged, the
LED will turn off.
• Disconnect the cable from the product and from the power source.

Operation

a) Turning on and off
• Press and hold the on/off button (1) for about 2 seconds to turn on the product. An acoustic
signal sounds. The white pairing indicator (7) flashes.
• To turn off the product, press and hold the on/off button for about 2 seconds. An acoustic
signal sounds. The white pairing indicator goes out.
If within 2 minutes after turning on no device is paired with the speaker, it will turn off
automatically.
b) Making a link (pairing)
• Activate Bluetooth on your device.
• Turn on the speaker.
• After a short time, "TWNT-BOS200" will appear in the list of available Bluetooth devices on
your device. Select "TWNT-BOS200".
If you are prompted to enter a password, enter 0000.
• After a successful connection is established, the white pairing indicator is solid and you hear
an audible signal.
With some mobile phones it may be necessary after the pairing process to confirm
the link between your mobile phone and the product.
This is normally necessary if you already have at least one other Bluetooth device
registered to the mobile phone or if the mobile phone is connected to another device
(such as a Bluetooth headset).
Only one Bluetooth device may be paired with the product at one time. Disconnect
any active Bluetooth links before pairing with another Bluetooth device.
The link will disconnect if the product or paired Bluetooth device is turned off
or removed from range. When the respective device is turned back on or when
the Bluetooth device comes back into range of the product, the connection is
automatically restored.
To enable this automatic reconnection, this function may need to be activated on
the Bluetooth device (please inform yourself on this point in the instructions for your
Bluetooth device).
c) Making a call
• While making a call, ensure that the microphone (5) is pointing at you and not covered.
• To answer an incoming call, press the phone button (4).
• To call someone, select as usual the number on your mobile phone.
• To end a call, press the phone button.
d) Audio input
• You can connect a playback device (e.g. MP3 player) to the audio input (9) to output its signal
through the speaker.
• Connect the audio input of the speaker to the headphone output on your playback device via
the included audio cable.
• Plugging in a plug to the audio input will disconnect an existing Bluetooth link.
Care and cleaning
• Disconnect all cables from the product before cleaning and close the protective cover.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may
damage the casing or cause the product to malfunction.
• Do not immerse the product in water.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product. To remove stubborn dirt, moisten the cloth
slightly with lukewarm water.
