Set-up/Wall installation
A secure position and a correspondingly stable installation surface or a stable attach-
ment of the mounting bracket must be ensured when installing the loudspeaker.
S erious injuries can be caused to persons by falling loudspeakers.
The loudspeaker set consists of an active loudspeaker (with mains connection and electronics)
for the left side and a passive loudspeaker for the right side. Please respect this fact during instal-
lation/assembly.
The monitor loudspeaker can be set up or attached to the wall with the installation brackets.
Set-up
• Remove both knurled screws from the housing.
• Pull apart the mounting bracket and remove it from the housing.
Pull apart the housing bracket far enough not to scratch the the housing when remov-
ing the bracket.
• Place the loudspeaker on a level surface without the mounting bracket.
Wall installation
• Remove both mounting brackets as described under "installation" from the housing.
• Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark the boreholes.
• Drill the mounting holes and provide them with suitable pegs as required. Please ensure that no
cables under the installation surface are damaged by the drill holes.
• Tightly screw the mounting bracket to the wall using pegs as required. The pegs and screws
must be suited to the mounting surface and be able to carry the load of the loudspeaker.
• Reinstall the loudspeaker on the brackets with the knurled screws, adjust them as required and
tighten the knurled screws.
Audio connection
O nly use suitable shielded connection lines for the audio connection. Using other
cables could cause interferences.
O nly devices with a cinch or headphone output may be connected to the INPUT (6)
connection to avoid distortions or maladjustments which could damage the loud-
speakers.
T he power cable may not be squashed or damaged on sharp edges.
S witch off the loudspeakers and all other connectible devices and disconnect the
device from the power supply before connecting the loudspeakers.
Likewise carry on with changes to the wiring.
• Connect the OUTPUT (7) connection of the active loudspeaker to the INPUT connection terminal
of the passive loudspeaker. Use the attached loudspeaker line (open line ends) for this purpose.
The red cable is connected to the red terminal, the black cable to the black terminal.
• Connect the signal output of your audio source to the INPUT (6) connection. Connect the left
channel with the white socket and the right channel with the red socket.
Mains inlet
T he power socket must be located near the product and must be easily accessible
after inserting the plug so that the loudspeakers can be disconnected from the power
supply quickly and safely in the event of fault.
P lease ensure that the device voltage specified on the product corresponds with the
available power supply before inserting the plug. Do not connect the plug if the infor-
mation does not correspond with the power supply available. Using incorrect power
supply could cause permanent damage to the device or hazards for the user.
T he power cable may not be squashed or damaged on sharp edges.
E nsure that the loudspeakers are switched off before connecting to the power supply
grid (switch the POWER (4) button to the "OFF" position).
• Connect the IEC connector of the power line to the power connection (8).
• Insert the plug into a wall socket.
• The power supply of the loudspeaker is switched on or off with the POWER (4) switch.
ON > power supply switched on / OFF > power supply switched off
• The operational display lights up when the power supply is switched on (5).

Operation

• The volume of both loudspeakers is controlled with the VOLUME (1) control.
• If the output of the audio source is controllable, the volume controller should be controlled to
at least 50% of the maximum volume. An optimum interference signal ratio is reached with this
setting.
• The high sound reproduction is controlled with the HIGH (2) controller.
• The low sound reproduction is controlled with the LOW (3) controller.
Replacing the fuse
I f changing the fuse is required, make sure to only use fuses of specified type and
rated current (see Technical data).
I t is not permitted to repair the fuse or to bypass the fuse holder.
• Pull the IEC connector out of the mains supply on successful mains separation (pull plug!) (8).
Lever out the fuse holder (9) with the defective fuse.
• Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
• Carefully reinsert the fuse holder (9) with the new fuse.
• First reconnect the mains cable with the device and plug into a power socket
Maintenance and cleaning
The loudspeakers do not require maintenance.
Please use a clean, soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
Never use any aggressive solvents or chemical solutions as these may cause damage to the hous-
ing surfaces or membranes.
Disposal
U sed electrical and electronic devices are recyclable and may not be disposed of with
the household waste!
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable
regulatory guidelines.
