18.5. Resetting to the factory settings
Select FACTORY SETTINGS and confirm the subsequent query with YES to
reset the device to the factory settings.
All existing network information will be deleted and will have to be re-entered to
establish a network connection.
18.6. Updating the software
You can search for and, if need be, install software updates under SOFTWARE
UPDATE.
Carrying out an auto update
Select YES under AUTO UPDATE to enable regular automatic searches for soft-
ware updates.
Searching for software updates
Select CHECK NOW to start a search for software updates immediately.
18.7. Starting the setup wizard
Select SETUP WIZARD to start the setup wizard as described in the section 'Us-
ing the device for the first time.
18.8. Displaying software information
The software version and the device's radio ID are displayed under INFO.
18.9. Set the display illumination
You can adjust the display lighting under DISPLAY LIGHTING:
− Dim the display in standby mode or operating mode after a specified time
− Display brightness
Setting the dimming time in operation
Select the entry DIM IN OPERATION AFTER: and then turn the OK ro-
tary dial to select ON, 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 or 180 sec-
onds.
Display brightness in operation
Select the entry BRIGHTNESS IN OPERATION by turning and then
pressing the OK dial and then set the desired brightness level to BRIGHT,
MEDIUM, or DARK.
Setting the dimming time in standby
Select the entry DIM IN STANDBY AFTER: and then turn the OK dial to
select ON, 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 or 180 seconds.
