3. Safety information

• This device is not intended for use by people (including chil-
dren) with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or
by those without experience and/or knowledge, unless they
are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or
they have been instructed in its use by that person. Children
should be supervised to ensure they do not play with this de-
vice.
• Keep the device and its accessories out of the reach of chil-
dren.

Risk of suffocation!
There is a risk of suffocation if plastic packaging or
small parts are inhaled or swallowed.
 Keep the packaging out of reach of children.

3.1. Operating safety

DANGER!
Risk of electric shock!
Risk of injury from electric shock due to live parts. They
pose a risk of electric shock or fire if an unintentional
short circuit occurs.
 Do not place containers filled with liquid, e.g. vases, on or
near the product, and protect all the parts from drips or
splashes. Such containers could tip over, and the liquid could
impair the electrical safety of the product.
 Never open the product housing and do not push objects in-
side the product through the slots and openings.
 In the event of damage to the mains adapter, power cable or
the device itself or if liquids or foreign bodies get into the de-
vice, unplug the device immediately.
 Disconnect the mains adapter from the mains power if you
are going to be away for a long period or if there is a thunder-
storm.
