16.3. Main menu in FM radio mode

 Press the MENU/HOME button or
mode.

Search settings

Confirm the following query ONLY STRONG STATIONS? with
YES if the radio should only search for stations with a strong signal;

NO if the radio should also search for stations with a weak signal.

Audio setting

Confirm the following query ONLY MONO? with
YES for the radio to play stations in mono. Use this setting for weak signals.

NO for the radio to play stations in stereo.
•
17. Listening to audio fi les from your computer/
from USB data media
 To listen to audio files from your network, select the music player function in the
main menu and confirm with OK, or press the MODE button repeatedly.
NOTE!
To output audio files from the network via the radio, you must use me-
dia server software in the network ("11.6. Using the WiFi radio as a me-
dia client" on page 70).
ATTENTION!
Possible damage to the device.
 To avoid damaging the device, do not use a USB ex-
tension cable and do not connect the device directly
to the USB port of a computer.
 The USB connection is only designed to be used for
USB memory sticks; other external storage media
such as external hard disks cannot be operated via
the USB port.
To play back audio files from a USB data medium, connect the USB data medium to
the USB connection.
If you connect a USB data medium, the device will automatically switch to the music
playback mode and the following query appears:
USB CONNECTED. OPEN FOLDER?.
