8.9. Setting up the IP camera

 Place the angled bracket on the IP camera onto the stand and turn it to the left
to secure the connection.
 Insert a microSD card into the card slot on the IP camera with the contacts facing
towards the lens.
 When setting up the IP camera, ensure that it is located within range of your Wi-
Fi router.
 Plug the USB cable into the USB connection on the IP camera and the other end
into the mains adapter. Plug the mains adapter into a suitable socket.
The camera will emit an acoustic signal.
 If mounting the camera on the wall, ensure that the installation location is with-
in range of a mains socket.

9. Operating the Smart Home app

The Smart Home app contains detailed step-by-step instructions on operating the
Smart Home set. Therefore, these instructions only describe the basic setup for the
system and dispense with a detailed explanation. The IP camera is controlled via the
View Plus app.
You can directly download the free Smart Home app and the View
Plus app , onto your smartphone from the Google Play Store (for
Android smartphones) or the App Store (for iPhones and iPads).
Following installation, open the Smart Home app.
 Activate the WLAN and Bluetooth connections on your smart device.
 Set up an account with an email address and password in order to access the
Smart Home system via the cloud.
