3.3. Special notes on the smart plug

WARNING!
Risk of injury!
There is a risk of injuries due to remotely operated de-
vices not being supervised.
 Do not connect any devices to the smart plug:
− that must not be operated unsupervised!
− that could cause a fire or damage if they are unintentionally
switched on (especially those devices that generate heat or
waste heat (e.g.: refrigerators, curling irons, hair dryers, elec-
tric heaters, hair straighteners, irons or devices with move-
able parts such as kitchen appliances, tools, etc.)!
− that are important for your health such as a heart-lung ma-
chine or a dialysis machine.
− that could be damaged if they are suddenly switched off
(freezers, aquariums, heating systems).
− whose contents could be damaged if they are switched off.

3.3.1. Power cut

WARNING!
Risk of injury!
Following a power cut in the home, all of the smart
plugs will be switched on for a short period of time.
If the electricity supply is restored following a power cut, the
smart plug will switch on and the connected device will be sup-
plied with electricity. As soon as the central unit restarts and is
back online (generally after approx. 30-90 seconds), it will re-es-
tablish a connection with the smart plug and set it to the last de-
fined operating state. If the smart plug was switched off before
the power cut, it will therefore restore this operating state.
 Observe the above-mentioned safety instructions for the
smart plug.
