Always remove flat batteries from the device.

ture. It may be shorter if the temperature is lower.

3.5. Smoke Detector
Do not paint or wallpaper over the smoke detector. Do not
under any circumstances tape over or cover the openings de-
signed to let in smoke.
Do not use the smoke detector in environments sensitive to
interference (e.g. in medical facilities with life support equip-
ment) in which the transfer of radio signals could cause the
equipment to malfunction.
Smoke detectors do not extinguish fires.
In the event of an alarm, check whether there is a fire source.
If a fire is identified, extinguish it and, if necessary, call the fire
services. In the event of a false alarm, check the device.
CAUTION!
Possible hearing damage!
The warning tone can cause hearing damage.
Use hearing protection when carrying out a functional test.
