Close the battery compartment.
7.6. Radiator thermostat
Remove the battery compartment cover by lifting the tab on the
rear of the radiator thermostat.
Insert two 1.5 V batteries of type AA/LR6 into the battery com-
partment on the underside of the device. Check the battery po-
larity.
Close the battery compartment.
8. Installing the Smart Home set
Ensure that the Smart Home components are located within the recep-
tion range of the Smart Home central unit. If the reception is not suffi-
cient for the relevant component, change the position of the Smart
Home central unit or, if required, add a second central unit to increase
the range of the Smart Home network.
8.1. Setting up the central unit
Select an installation location for the central unit that is within range of the oth-
er Smart Home components.
Screw the supplied Bluetooth antenna into the socket on the central unit in or-
der to guarantee optimal reception.
Connect the USB cable with the USB 2.0 Micro-B port and the other end to the
mains adapter.
Plug the mains adapter into a suitable socket.
The LED for the PAIR button lights up.
8.2. Door/window contact
The door/window contact can be fitted to doors, win-
dows and other objects that open and close.
Clean the mounting area.
It must be dry, clean and free of grease.
Mount the magnet and the transmitter to the frame
and leaf of the door or window using the supplied
adhesive strips, as illustrated above.
Mount the magnet flush to the transmitter with a
maximum distance of approx. 20 mm.
