Mounting a Danfoss radiator thermostat
The device can be fitted to radiator valves of type Danfoss RA, Danfoss RAV and
Danfoss RAVL using the adapter supplied in the delivery. Refer to the following illus-
trations to find out which adapter ring is suitable for the relevant valve.
The valve bodies on Danfoss valves have elongated
indentations A (see arrow, Fig. 3) around their cir-
cumference that ensure the adapter fits better after
mounting.
 When mounting, ensure that the pins in the in-
terior of the relevant adapter B (Fig. 3–5) are
precisely aligned with the indentations A on the
valve.
 Place the stem extension piece C onto the valve
pin before mounting the adapter on RAV type
valves.
 Fully mount the adapter that is suitable for the
relevant valve.
The RA and RAV adapters are pretensioned to en-
sure a better fit.
 If necessary, use a screwdriver during the mount-
ing process to lightly bend the adapter near to
where the screw is located.
 Once mounted onto the valve body, tighten the
RA or RAV adapter using the supplied bolt and
nut.
The RAVL adapter does not need to be screwed
in place.
 Ensure that the radiator thermostat is located
within the reception range of the Smart Home
central unit. If the reception is not sufficient in
the relevant position, change the position of the
Smart Home central unit or, if required, add a
second central unit to increase the range of the
Smart Home network.

8.8. Smart Plug

 Only connect the device to a properly installed
power socket. The mains voltage must correspond to the technical data for the
device.
 Insert the mains plug on the device that you want to control via the Smart Home
smart plug into the socket on the Smart Home smart plug.
