Setting the reference level

In relative attenuation mode the attenuation is displayed
relatively to a reference level. This reference level
• can be set by defining the actual attenuation as
reference level
• can be edited manually.
Setting the reference level
✓ The device is in absolute attenuation mode
1. Press
The MAIN menu opens.
2. Press ▼ key to select Store ABS->REF.
3. Press
Note: The reference level must be stored for each
wavelength separately and will be saved during
power off.
Editing the reference level
1. Select Edit Ref. Level in the MAIN menu
The edit display opens.
2. Press ▲▼ to change level
- press once to step 0.01 dB
- hold key to accelerate count speed
3. Press
The device is in relative display mode.
