4.8 Scaling

Once you have connected CAPNOsleep
your polysomnograph, you should perform a
scaling adjustment.
Important! Do not feed any CO
nasal cannula. The value of the two analog
outputs is now 0 V. This corresponds to a
value of 0 mmHg.

For 6 seconds a scaling signal will be trans-
mitted to your polysomnograph.
On the two analog channels a signal of 1 V
or 100 mV is transmitted to the polysomno-
graph for 3 seconds. The maximum output
voltages of 1 V or 100 mV correspond to a
CO partial pressure of 75 mmHg.

Then the baseline is transmitted to your polys-
omnograph for 3 seconds. The baseline (0 V)
corresponds to a CO
0 mmHg.
Important! This signal is no substitute for the

CAPNOsleep calibration check. The sole
purpose of this signal is for scaling the input
channel of your polysomnograph.

somnographe, procédez à un étalonnage.
Important ! Veillez à ce qu'il ne passe par de
CO par les lunettes nasales. Les deux sorties

analogiques sont à 0 V, ce qui correspond à
une pression de 0 mmHg.
Appuyez brièvement sur la touche
Un signal d'étalonnage est transmis au poly-
somnographe pendant 6 secondes.
Les deux canaux analogiques transmettent un
signal de respectivement 1 V et 100 mV au
polysomnographe pendant 3 secondes. Les
deux tensions maxi de sortie de 1 V et
100 mV correspondent à une pression partiel-
le de CO
2
La ligne zéro est ensuite transmise au poly-
somnographe pendant 3 secondes. La ligne
zéro (0 V) correspond à une pression partielle
de CO égale à 0 mmHg.
